El billar es un juego en el cual se necesitan tacos o palos para su práctica. Juego de tacos de billar.

Se practica en una mesa con un juego de bolas. Hay varias modalidades de juego de billar.

La carambola, se juega con tres bolas y consiste en hacer el mayor número de carambolas para ganar.

También está el snooker que consiste en introducir tus bolas en troneras. Este juego de bolas es distinto al billar americano en cuanto al tamaño y color de las bolas.

En el snooker se juega con bolas de dos colores, unas son amarillas y las otras son de color rojo. El jugador juega con una de color blanco

En el billar americano, las bolas son rayadas de distintos colores y otras son toda entera y además de distintos colores.

Finalmente decir que no todas la mesas de billar son del mismo tamaño.
